AEGEE activities in HelsinkiAEGEE-Helsinki (founded in 1992) is the local branch of AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe) ie European Students' Forum and has members from Helsinki University, Helsinki University of Technology, Helsinki School of Economics and Swedish School of Economics.
Our meetings are usually held at our office in Uusi Ylioppilastalo. In addition to meetings we organize social gatherings, theme parties of different countries (e.g. Italian night), sauna evenings, cultural excursions, movie nights, cottage trips, winter trips and a lot more. See our calendar of events. Often we organise parties in co-operation with the other international student organisations in the universities or other AEGEE locals in Finland and Estonia. Every year we organise an exchange with another AEGEE local. So far our partners have been Barcelona, Kaunas, Istanbul, Tartu, St. Petersburg, Novi Sad, Lublin, Maribor, Sibiu, Maastricht, Krakow, Salerno and Moscow.
